Dogs at polling stations....

Too dark for a photo this time round, took Ted in where he had a complete tantrum for reasons unknown ? no one else around so they didn't seem to mind!

Our dogs are regulars at the polling station. They always get fussed by the polling clerks. Did think about taking the horse as the polling station is between my house and the yard, but the car park is tiny.

George to Voter: Who you voting for?
Voter to George: Pardon?
George to Voter: You'd better vote SDP?
Voter to George: SDP?
George to Voter: Yeh, SDP. Small Dog Party.
Voter to George: I hadn't planned on voting SDP.
Ace to Voter: Look, if the Boss says you better vote SDP, then you better vote SDP. Capiche?
Voter to George: (stuttering) Sure, yeh, I was planning on voting SDP. I'll definitely be voting SDP
George to Voter: On your way then. *winks at Ace*
Lev: George, stop growling at the voters they don't understand what you're saying.
George ?

Well at the last election (not so long ago!) I took my two terrierists into the Polling Station.

They behaved appallingly; somehow they got one side of the polling booth, and I was the other, and their leads got wrapped around the dang thing and it all toppled over ....... it was all hugely embarrassing and I exited hastily, with the two culprits.

I didn't dare taken them again this time.

And Jeremy Corbyn thought he was humiliated at the polls!!!

Unfortunately the polling station was on the ground floor of our offices (ex council building) and the general public found it wholly acceptable to bring their wet muddy dogs tramping through into meeting rooms with carpeted floors. Don't see why it would be necessary to take the dog, it can't vote!

CC your actors are all too old!!! Millie is a young vibrant thing, and the boys are much younger than Pacino and De Niro however much I adore them ???

Ok what about Uma Thurman for Millie, Michelle can be Amy.
Josh Brolin and Ryan Gosling for the boys? Assuming Costner and Connery are also too old. Was thinking of an Untouchables/Gangster Squad type vibe.

My boys will be played by Robert Carlyle (©️'The Canine Begbie') and Ewan McGregor, for obvious reasons lol.

I would imagine because a lot of people combine it with walking the dog? I’d have expected the presiding officer to be more on the ball by now and either arrange floor coverings or ban dogs!

Now Uma Thurman would be good - sassy, confident, attractive and in your face ?

I’m liking the vibe about the Untouchable..... I may have to buy them some raincoats to look the part....
