Dogs Barking Complaint

OP stated above she doesn’t like the lack of privacy with so many people living in close proximity anyway. This would be my worst nightmare too.

Oh absolutely I'd love to be detached somewhere if I could afford too.
Thankfully the noisy dogs (spaniels, they don't get out much, which means you just hear them barking inside the house) are across the way from me.

Here we are pretty isolated but the neighbours dogs have kennels in such a position that when they bark the noise is funnelled by buildings to annoy both us and others a good quarter of a mile away. Meanwhile the owners are oblivious as there are buildings and several brick walls that the sound has to pass before reaching their house.

They also have a pack of noisy free range children which annoy me more than the dogs.

interesting comment about "being awake for the day". Does she work nightshifts? My husband does cover nights sometimes and I always worry about the noises during the day keeping him awake but he sleeps through most things! Maybe thats the issue? Hard I know but perhaps a talk with her might sort it out?

I’m a bit over obsessed with our dogs not barking in the garden. The only one that does is our old dog, but as soon as she does, I run out and quieten her, or bring her in. I’m always worried someone would complain, even though I never let her bark for any length of time.
I got accused once that my dog was barking. Very angry person at the door. My dog was in the house asleep! It was the neighbour behinds dog.
