Aled and Luna seem to get on really well. They play together all the time, sleep together etc. One thing I've noticed, and bothers me a little, is they seem to clean each other, often quite intimately. It only bothers me as I'm not sure if it's normal. Have only ever had one dog at a time before. We've always had more than one cat, and mutual grooming was quite normal, but that was generally bodies, rather than private parts. (I sound like such a prude).

Any advice welcome.

Any bits that they can't reach themselves... and ones they can!

Mine used to avoid cleaning himself downstairs when very hairy and matted (when I got him, I've now sorted this) but even at that point would lick other dogs he liked (bitches and dogs).

I did find some information about it apparently dogs that like and trust one another do it and it is like a form of cleaning one another hence the eyes, ears and mouth are common areas.
