Morning

my dog has a sore looking eye when looking at the lid it is fatty looking, a bit reddened and sore - not much gunk coming out of thhe eye

today i have noticed that he has what appears to be a small circular hole in the film over his eye and his eye appears bluey as opposed to usual brown eye

any ideas ---obviously visiting vets today asap

Sorry to hear about your dog and glad you are taking him to the vet. Eyes are very precious and its always best to err on the side of caution and see a professional. Let us know how you get on and fingers crossed its something simple for the vet to sort out.

vet says it is a corneal ulcer, had a really good look and come away with antiobiotic eye drops.
have to go back in two days if not any improvement seen.

Ouch! Hope it heals ok. My creature had a formal ulcer but very deep yet still healed really well.
