Doesnt apply to my two springers, but my jack russell has been eating the cleansing and after birth from the cows. this is cancelling out whatever worming stuff we give her and I was just wondering if there was an alternative? x

Why does it cancel out the worming you give him? My dog doesn't eat the cleansing but the other dog on the farm does. Both are wormed at the same times and I've not seen any difference with either of them.

Not sure about other breeds but as far as I know cows are fabulous at killing the life cycle of equine sensitive worms.

Anyway, have a word with the cows...they should be eating the cleansing! LOL

I dont know, but she is wormed very regularly and it isnt doing anything for her. Blooming dog gets there before the cow, ah well, at least she doesnt have puppies, she used to come into the porch and sick it up when she was

It shouldn't affect the wormer. Wormers only work for the time they are given, so if she empties after having wormer & the goes & eats something with worms in then she will be infevted again straight away. It's the same for all wormers they only kill the worms that are present in the gut when given. You can feed Apple Cider Vinegar which makes the gut un hospitable for the worms so they don't get as many. With eating the clensing shw will be getting a good supply of nutrients we use to give it to our shhep dogs all the time on the farm was easy way to get rid of & stopped Charlie Boy coming in for it & spying something else he fancied!
Whats her actual problem as it may not be worms but just look like it???

They are those tagetelli kind of worms (sorry if anybody is eating) Thing is, its happened a few times now, and I know its really good for her, but I cant say I like the worms too much.
