Sorry in advance for the subject!

Have noticed over the last few days, that both dogs poo is hard, pale in colour, almost crumbly. Am just wondering if this is normal? They are fed Millies Wolfheart, surf and turf. Water is down all the time, they do get the odd scraps left over from our dinner.

They were both fed the Salmon and Veg version before, poo was then very dark, still firm but not crumbly. These biscuits are a lot paler in colour.

Not a problem, mine often do pale dry poos (albeit on raw).

I got the bone content a bit wrong once and R farted chalk dust for a day in lieu of pooing. Can't have done him much harm, he's still here. :p

Brig’s is quite crumbly, he’s on Wainwright’s trays, never drinks enough. I add liver to make it less crumbly.

On a related note, our local park is disgraceful, lots of poo left, but loads of sloppy, orange Mr Whippy type stuff. I hate to think what they’re feeding their dogs.

"Farting chalk" ... had me in stitches. My big dogs sometimes crumbles out a poo. Impossible to pick up; it disintegrates on contact.

The more bone in the diet, the harder, crumblier the poo. Personally I would up the muscle/offal content of the diet but it is not a worrying sign.
