Been to new vets today, dog had a good going over. Hes mentioned that one of her remaining teeth has pus round the gum. Poor little soul has only about 5 left due to neglect by previous owner, Ive taken her in twice since Ive had her to have first 13 removed then another 5, about 14 already lost when she came to me. I found the last time she went in really upsetting, for me, and now the thought of her having the others removed is awful. Vet seems to be of the lets get them out now and stop future problems! Another £600 quoted, not covered by insurance because of previous treatment. Im in two minds about having it done as they are not bothering her and its the one tooth affected, though the others look terribly discoloured. Trouble is now that its been mentioned it will prey on my mind
