dogs unleashed- bakewell

Hmm, we might, if the weather isnt totally foul. I promised Alfie an ice-cream and a go on the bouncy castle ;) Or I might let him shame me in the agility!

Oo i shall keep my eye out for u! Ill be the one being dragged around by the oh so friendly lab and will prob join u in being put to shame in the scurry thing te find his toy!

Marvellous-mine is a tan and white whippet lurcher. Last time I took him to any sort of county show, he wee-ed on the posh jewellery store table cloth, right in front of the owner!

Not going this year but this time last year we were there to meet and take home Ricoh from his lovely SHWA fosterer, making this our one year owniversary. :)

I went yesterday, very muddy and lots of lying water!! Dogs enjoying splashing around in it!

To be honest didn't think it was as good as last year, didn't seem to be much to do or look at this year. Maybe some of the displays/stands didn't bother turning up because of weather.

I went today with Millie & Suzy, agree it wasn't anywhere near as good as last year, but still had a thoroughly lovely day with the girls! Plus got a bargain dog bed so very pleased!

I havnt been before but i loved it and bertie loved the puddles it was so nice seeing so many off leads playing ball truly was dogs unleashed!
Is it normal that they do half price tickets for following year or is that cause of poor turn out this year?

Not normal i dont think - or at least they didnt last year, I think they did it to recognise and thank those people that did risk the weather, and also as there wasnt nearly as much on/to do compared to last year. I'll defo be going again, its always fun, and great experience for my dogs, especially Suzy who at the same show last year went from lunging lunatic on the end of the lead with other dogs, to shaking and worrying when there was loud noises. This year she just seemed to thoroughly enjoy herself!

BC - I remember you posting about last year and collecting the new mutt! cant believe 12 months have passed already!

Nor can I, I just remember him sharting himself explosively in the car boot on the way home and having to have the windows down for the rest of the two hour journey, Dax sulking on the back seat and wondering what on earth I had done! :p
