Dogs who dont eat dog food...

People who feed their dog raw, cooked food etc instead of dog food - do you give them any sort of vit/mineral alongside this?

My dog eats scraps but well balanced, and has some dog biscuits everyday. he is healthy - any slight problem would show up instantly in his skin as he is hairless and sensitive to skin problems.

But i wondered if i need to give him any sort of vitamin?

The one we sell in the shop is called SA37, and is a general vit and min supplement.

Mine are both fed raw. Neither get supplements. They have much nicer coats and skin since we moved on to the diet

Alfie is fed raw, he gets a good balanced diet so suppliments or vits are not required!

Mine doesn't get vitamins - but I do give him sea kelp supplement and cod liver oil

I think I might also start him on Glucosamine & Chondroitin soon - because if you start them young it is meant to help protect against arthritis (obviously not completley - but is mean to help!).

Mine gets raw/ natural - I was advised to feed those supplements by the nutritionist that did his diet plan.
