You missed hunting off your list. Just try some autumn hunting if you're not sure as the pace is slower. You don't have to jump. Contact your local hunt nearer the time as usually starts after harvest in august.
Loughton has nothing going on! But the rest are fab suggestions![]()
Try a trec training session. They are great fun even if you don't want to compete. Found this for you in your area:

Thanx for this. I love the idea of the beach ride. Just a bit nervous of driving there and back, and sorting out a route. I'll give Wilstead a call.If you're on the dreaded Facebook, then there is a Bedforshire horse riders group ... Lots of events and things get pinged up on there for Woburn and surrounding area. If you want to join in on beach rides then contact The Stables Equestrian Centre at Wilstead. They go regularly and you can arrange transport to take your horse along or ride one of theirs. They also do pub rides which are great fun. See what is going on at Hanslope and Loughton Equestrian Centre too .., there is also Keysoe and Bury Farm ... And a good few others too. Lots to do in Mk and surrounding areas. Some lovely new hacking routes opened up around the new centre parks just outside Ampthill too. Hth. Xx

Does Loughton not do anything these days? Well, that shows how long it's been since I was out and about! Chuckle. Xx
