Doing what horses are supposed to do......

What unsettled him to make him gallop round for so long? No way I would have left mine galloping round for 4mins, would be too scared of vets bills.

Can I ask how you would have stopped him.....because whenever mine have played in the past even food isnt enough incentive to stop. Do you stable all the time in case yours do it when you're not there?
Lovely video btw, v. jealous of the house!!

This is the most ridiculous comment i've seen in a while.

My horse does exactly the same, on his own or with his pals, not all that often but when he does he runs round and round like a mad thing bucking and leaping.

He looks very happy, and very graceful.

He isn't unsettled. Surely you can see that he's just enjoying moving and galloping? He's happy and loving the freedom of movement, letting his hair down if you like.

I thought it was a wonderful video and I enjoyed every second of it, thank you for posting it :)
He has such beautiful movement, lovely horse. Mine doesn't often do that (too busy stuffing his face) but I love to watch him when he does.

Lovely vid:) My fave bit is him ducking to go under the trees:D I bet he's thinking 'Oof! Pfffttt! Blimmin trees,in the way of my...ah,open grass...my fantabulous movement!' My KWPN loves a good hoon and a strut:) (But I couldn't turn him out with those chairs anywhere in his vicinity-even if he had a 100 acre field to himself,he'd be innately drawn to those chairs as something on which he could handily possibly impale himself!)

I have spoken with Armas this morning and he has asked me to thank you for all the nice comments. He did say the trees are a pain
He also said that he is studying to become a fully fledged unicorn ! katherine1975 he asked if Hazle is single

What a lovely video, and what a gorgeous horse enjoying just being a horse. I think I'm a bit in love!

Misterjay loves a hooley (admittedly an arthritic one :D) - I always think he has rabbits in his head at those times!

Armas obviously never poos :D

Thank you and yes he loves to poo!

Absolutely stunning, what a handsome horse he is and wow what a stunning "garden" he has to play in!! :)

;)

Sowed this to Dan and he was most impressed. I absolutely love it when horses are able to play like this.

To not allow a horse to play like this is to not allow a horse to be a horse. Shame on anyone that would stop it.

He's a stunner James x

Seriously?? I had better not post a video of my Welsh D then, he gallops so fast I wonder how he stays on his feet as he banks the corners like a motorbike or my little welsh X that used to gallop down the field and jump the gates to get into the stable area, she was only 14hh. Armas is stunning and its lovely to see a horse enjoying his freedom and stretching his legs.:)

He looks really lovely in that video :D I used to have one that every evening at the same time had 10 minutes galloping round the field like that. He was great to watch too, though it upset the cattle. I wish you'd let your little one join in too, I feel sorry for him having to watch and not able to run with his pal.

I have already replied to this thread. Since then I have watched it so............. many times. Love it. makes me cry every time to see a horse so much enjoying himself, so many don't get that opportunity. Thank you for sharing.

I have watched it a number of times it always brings out a smile I never tire of watching my boy play.

He looks fantastic. I do think that maybe he is a bit of a poseur... if he was human he would be strutting his stuff on the French coast in speedos!!

Lovely horse, lovely setting.

Such a beautiful horse! ENJOYING himself galloping! What a silly comment from earlier about being unsettled x

Lovely! Enjoyed watching him. And even though there isn't any mud, he doesn't seem to have any nice green poo stains?!

Armas is gorgeous :) Up til now I have only caught up with the videos of his traing...my, what a contrast..!!! James you are very lucky, beautiful. How big is he..?? He looks quite small in the video but that may be deceptive..??
