Look how big my not so "ickle" Dolly is :) coming up to 6 weeks this Wednesday i believe. The loss of hair on her chest is from scratching both are having a bath in creepy crawly stuff tomorrow ! :rolleyes:

Aw she's just gorgeous as always! Is that her foal headcollar you were sent fitting now? I just love a good Dolly update! :D
What sort of creepy crawly stuff are you putting on them? And hows mummy-bear getting on?

Yes ! Its fab and her big head has grown into it quickly :D Im not sure mum knows more, it is safe for use on foals though we made sure !! We think it may be mites :( Tess has lost all of her feathers and have pig oiled them up but now they both need a good bath !

She is a very lucky mare to have found her owner who saved her from the meat man ! x
 
Lovely as always - mites can be tricky maybe give your vet a call they can inject dectomax (I think and almost certainly not spelt like that!!) which will get rid of them - might be easier than bathing/ pig oiling a foal!

that is one BIG foal!!!!!! honestly cant believe she is only 6 weeks old.....but then i cant believe she is 6 weeks old, times flying past!!!!! not giving her a growth serum are you ;)

glad youve got something else to ride, looks like youre having loads of fun :)

hope you get the itchyness sorted out! little b****rs get everywhere!!!!!!!

We are giving it a go with the washing tonight she has had pig oil on (after doing patch test) and she isn't itchy anymore but this will hopefully blast them all away ! If not vet is the next call thank you :D

I know time really has gone so quickly only seems like yesterday i stumbled on a little fluff ball in the backl of the stable :D

Jaysus she's s strong foal! Can you imagine how humongous she would be if the mare was given stud mix? I dread to think how she'd even make it out :eek:
Seriously, she's a dote, and a lovely little person. They grow up so fast don't they? It's lovely seeing them grow. I am impatient with mine, can't wait to see what they're going to grow into and then they're 3 and you are reminiscing (sp?) over what kind of a foal they were! :D
 
Cor blimey she's ginormous! Can't believe I'm going to be monitoring HHO for like 3 years to see what she turns out like. I'm not comfortable with this level of internet commitment ;-)

The TB is lovely you look like you're having marvellous fun, glad you're not missing out on lovely riding weather!
