Dolly had her first bath !!

So we discovered some horrible mites on Dolly and she was itchy as hell so today in the 17 degree weather she had a bath with warm water and this mite shampoo ( safe for foals) Attached some photos :D excuse the fact im wearing a onesie lol !

She was so very well behaved and everything was done at little Dolly dodars pace :) She reared once out of confusion i think, settled right back down and managed to get her done in 20 mins :) Tess had her legs washed with it and her greasy tail done too !

Oh! She is fantastic! Getting bigger every time we see her. And what a good girl to have a bath - all excellent training for the future. Hope that is the end of the mites, horrible things. Looking forward to more pics soon!:)
 
Sorry to be picky but, you found LICE. Mites are not visible to the naked eye, lice are. Full marks stuff works really well for them, only thing I could get to shift them on one of mine

She does :cool: naughty little chip ! Thank you she has lost 90% of her baby flab, cannot wait to get her back in work once dolly has been weaned though !

We did everything at her pace and calm so hopefully a bath wont be evil lol ! Thanks i hope we have too horrible creepy crawlies :(

Eeek thank you ! This stuff kills everything it says so will give it a try before moving on to full marks
