Dolly has a very , very strange habbit ... she doesn't like to poo in our field but would rather push her bum right against the stock fencing and poo into the neighbours field :D Makes poo picking easy ;) No of course we go round and pick up her poo. She is growing out of it but god knows why she finds it so fun ?

So does your horse have a strange habit ?

Mine squishes him bum right up against the wall in his stable and poos on the shelf. I can only think he does it to save laying in it later on. Either way in happy as he's coloured :P

My friend has a little pony and her sister has a welsh cob type. They both only ever poo in the middle of the field in one big pile - both of them!

They walk up to the poo pile, swing round, and reverse into it to dung. Are they the cleanest horses in the world?!

I have one pony who only ever dungs in one pile in the stable, in the morning it looks like a single elephant poo, so he is the easiest horse of mine to muck out. Annoyingly he usually manages to lie in it though, and he is grey...

My 3 year old will walk away from his feed and go pee in the same place about 30 feet away, then come back. Sadly, the yearling doesn't have the same decorum and always pees on his haylege, but then, so does his mum!

My girl wees every time I put her evening haynet in (whilst eating it!), without fail. Makes it easy for me, I just get it out straight away before it spreads, meaning smaller wet patches :) she also poos in the same spot in the stable, which would be ideal if it wasn't on the route between her haynet and the stable door, meaning she walks in it and spreads it everywhere

My old mare used to do one big poo mountain and pee in the same spot too, easy mucking out. (:

Archy poo's in a line up against the back wall, and does one lonely one at the front.

My 4 yo old has always 'helpfully' followed me about whilst poo picking, generally getting in the way and staring at it all most interestedly...he will then squeeze a few out, usually where I've just picked a good clear patch...Ive got a feeling he could potentially be 'toilet trained' as he does seem to be sort of trying to show willing except i think he's more like oh its all gone away, shall i put some back for you..so at the time I'm toiling away and he does it, I'm usually just too irritated with him to bother!

My horse will also only poo around the muck heap in the field, makes it very easy poo picking!

He will also kick his feed bowl out the way when he has finished eating. And I'm not talking just pushing it away, he properly boots it like a football and I have found it on the other side of the yard before!

Two of mine poo in piles in the stable and poo close to our muck trailer in the field.
Roberto often poo's in his water bucket  dirty s*d

My welshie always wees outside my neighbours house. Doesn't matter if I go out or come back from my hack past the house he will always wee. My neighbour doesn't seem to mind though. My mare will also do all her droppings in one pile in the stable. She is a star.

Mine use to reverse into his haybar and poo in that when it was full of hay!! Dirty git, we don't have the haybar anymore got sick of trying to get it all out

Ron only poos in two places in his stable - I'd like to think it's cos he's tidy... but actually, it's cos he can't be bothered to move! :D does make skipping out easy though!

Tom has specific spots on all our hacks where he has to stop and pee... he's like a dog scent marking, except it's a full on whizz each time!
