I finally have a diagonosis.

She has damaged her Suspensory Ligament at the Medial Branch and has also managed to rip a bit off bone of the sesamoids.

The vet is going to speak to Willesley next week but he thinks the best thing is to turn her out for 6 months and then see what she is like. He didn't sound very hopeful about her jumping ever again.

He also said that as she is a nice mare I could breed a foal - not really sure if I want to do that though.

So does anyone know of any cheap horses for sale/loan as I have no cash and I now need a new horse.

Oh b*gger!!!!!

So sorry, what a blooming pain in the backside.

What do you want? You could have Mustard for a bit on loan, buy him if you liked him but he's just a small Tb, he's not going to be a superstar sjer! Or you could have him in and sell him, take a cut......

oh God mandy no? you are having no luck and poor Dolly after you have worked so hard to get her right.

If i hear of anything will let you know but know of nothing at the moment

Thank you everyone, I am being a bit crap about knowing what I want to do next. I don't want to get into too much debt as I have to renegoiate my mortgage in Dec so I need to be able to pay off whatever I borrow by then.

I can't believe she's done it, after all the hassle of the last op and now this, she is such a nice horse as well she doesn't deserve it.

**HUGS**

What classes do you want to be able to jump??

Thank you, I'm not really that worried about the classes as long as it's something I can have fun on.

Blooming thing. Wonder how on earth she did it?
Will keep an eye out for you and if I hear of anything will let you know.

Oh dear - sorry to hear that

I'll keep an eye out for something suitable, there's always idiots who out horse themselves and sell them on cheap.

The other choice would be to get a 4/5 unbroken. Depends how much time you have? If you want a nice one visit Weezy's local stud.

Oh I am really sorry to hear this.

What sort of thing are you looking for my friend is looking to loan her horse out while she is working abroad. PM me and I will see if she might suit you.

my friends horse has also just done this. it's the same injury that her dam had that caused her to put her in foal and breed this one! she is 17 and also being turned out for several months to see if rest can heal it.
