Good, bad or indifferent????

currently use Mark Todd but it needs to be replaced, as worn out and now really old and very heavy when wet!

Tried Rambo Duo and cut of rug didn't suit horse ended up rubbing him

Always liked them tbh. Theyve always fit mine well and never had issues with them slipping.

Ive had a l/w stable rug and a summer sheet type thing for years and i keep saying im going to invest in some more but never got round to it.

The only slight annoyance i had with them was in regards to the front straps. When i bought mine, the front closure was literally just a loop of leather with a buckle that wasnt attached to the rugs in anyway. Ive lost SO many of those stupid leather things! :P Fortunatly, they looked to be much like a dog collar and thats what ive used to replace them with but it can be extremely annoying. (Think how often you just unrug quickly and then imagine an annoying bit of leather dropping in a deep bed and meaning you cant fasten your rug

Of course, they might have changed those!
 
I've had a few of these over the years. I agree about the front strap thing - hopefully they have up dated that with newer designs. I found they fit my warmblood type horses very well but didn't fit my thoroughbred-type pony very well and they used to rub her shoulders quite a bit. I really like the exercise rug - thats the only one I still use regularly now.
 
Mine is pretty new and it has normal fastenings (the metal ones you put through at 90 degrees and then turn back to horizontal if you see what I mean.

The only downside is it slips forward a bit, but is really waterproof and well made for the ££

No rubbing so far.....
