Dominick Rugs...

Hi yes I use a 6ft 6 full neck turnout on my Haflinger. it doesnt get much use as shes rarely rugged but when it is very cold and windy (we are on edge of Cairngorms)in winter it is put on.

Ive been very impressed with it, esp as I got it through Equestrian clearance so quite cheap too. Nothing has been cheap and rubbishy on it. The only thing it does do is get blown forward a bit as she never lifts her head up from eating and its a light thing in terms of weight and we have verystrong winds. But in a normal location that might be fine. No problems with waterproofness etc and its nice and smart.

I would buy one again.
 
I had Dominick stable and turnout rugs for my horses a couple of years ago. I liked the shoulder dart and the minimal fastenings but I found that the theory of the so-called self-righting webbing between the outer and inner layers was a good idea but didn't work and every rug slipped sideways - all of the rugs fitted the horses. Changed back to Rambo & Mark Todd.
 
I've got some dominick rugs - I actually got them via James as he is/was an agent for them in this country. I found they fitted my 2 warmblood type horses really well but rubbed the shoulders of my TB pony so I think they depend a little on the build of the horse. Jenny has the lightweight stable rug on at the moment and its not rubbing at all and I never find it to have slipped at all, but when she goes into a heavier rug I have to say I prefer the Rambo rugs. The only Dominick rug I wouldn't be without, however is the exercise rug which is excellent.
 
I have 4 dominick rugs. Fits my warmbloods beautifully, never slip or rub. I feel they come up quite small though so be careful over the size you buy.
