I had a lesson today, well riding club clinic. It was great.
It was our first lesson in 2 years due to having baby and we jumped a little course of about 2'6.
We were all over the place, very wobbly but managed to get it together for last bit and have a bit of a nice rhythm

Sounds like you had a great day!

Donald Kear is a fantastic instructor............i had him for the 2 years i was at senior camp (pony club) and thought he was fab!!

hes great isn't he? Love his no nonsense approach
He said my boy and I did pretty well considering we have had well over a year off from jumping. He jumped a water tray first time-good boy

Are you talking to me sienna? If so then yes that's Bodey my 4 year old. Actually had him a year the day before Christmas Eve (where does the time go) but first sat on him at the end of February. He’s doing great. Got my first hunter trial next weekend (only 2ft-2ft3), scary!!
Did you get photos of you jumping??

god, is it a year? I remember reading about you getting him but think time has gone a bit warped since having a baby.
Good luck at hunter trial, he looks like he has a super jump!
Mu husband tried to take some pics but missed the jumpd and got me lading - bless him, he tried

Oh yeah, trying to get a photo of someone jumping is a complete nightmare. I usually get ones of just the jump after 10 minutes of the person jumping the jump. I just take as many as possible and just hope for at least one half decent one.
Still like to see the landing photo though??

I know, this year has flown by. Nice to have you back after having a kiddie!
