Does anyone know of anywhere who accept tack donations by post? I e been having a clear out, and tried various car boot sales/eBay to get rid of it, some has gone but not all. It's all nice stuff, not tatty, some pretty much new! Mainly bits, bridles/spares, girths, neck covers, rug, rope halters, that sort of thing. All clean, all in working order. I'll try asking local riding schools if any of it is any good to them, but if I have no luck there, I wonder if anyone knew of places that would be likely to take it? Thank you

Thanks guys. As long as it can be posted, I'm quite far from all of these to drop it in! I don't mind if they sell it for whatever they want, I just begrudged people wanting it for practically nothing, I'd rather give it to charity for them to use/sell than sell things for a quid for someone else to flip it elsewhere!

Either world horse welfare like others above has said or there is a company on Facebook called ‘ALS Equestrian Bargains’ who sells all these type of things so maybe a message or email to them would help? I’m sure they buy in joblots etc then sell on their website & Facebook. I’m sure they’d take things like this :)

or some tack shops have a 2nd hand section in? Maybe you could call some local tack shops they may take it if they have a 2nd hand section?

You could try your local RDA group. Ours received a very generous donation from an HHOer who was giving up horses. We were very grateful. Some of the tack has been worn by the RDA mounts and some sold to add to the funds to pay for keep etc.
