It will might start with just the shopping but we all know that before long it will be cleaning the house, picking the kids up from school and doing all the cooking.....
Funnily enough, I read this elsewhere just twenty minutes ago. In theory, this is a fantastic idea, but have they thought about it properly. For example, who will care for it, who has donkey knowledge (rather than horse knowledge) who will pay for it's upkeep? How long before some miserable gits start complaining about donkey poo? Do they plan on having just one? What will they do in torrential rain?
I had to laugh at the "donkeys can cost up to £600" yes, and the rest!!!
I can't provide a donkey but a similar scheme did operate I believe in Devon called Henry's Hooves and the money raised from this went to charity.
Henry was (then) a small mule of 16 years who had been rescued from the meat man and his owner in conjunction with Somerfield set up this delivery service.
