Lets not turn this in to an anti-pakistani thread. The tect accompanying the you tube clip says Pakistani people were horrified about the actions, and lack of reaction in the video.

I'm not saying I'm not shocked and upset about the actions against the donkeys... just that its a disgusting example of mankind's cruelty rather than of one nation's. we're not whiter than white either.

This kind of thing happens all the time, most people don't bat an eyelid. I remember I was at a livery yard/riding school and this small boy of around 11 ? was jumping up and smacking the horse on the back with a whip constantly (not hard), just jumping up and down. Now It wasn't out of nastiness he was doing it but he just was. Someone went over and really laid into him and literally made him cry. I think he just didn't know it was probably not nice to the horse but it really wasn't hard at all the horse didn't care.
