Don't agree with vet, can I reclaim money?

Thank you all for your replies, it's given me plenty to think about. I didn't think I have much chance of a refund but worth canvassing opinion. I won't rule out foot, but I think I'll rule out that particular vet.

Off to do some work.

Pardon the pun here but if you do that you are shooting yourself in the foot. Be far better to ask his recommendation for a second opinion/referral so at least you don't end up paying for the same scans all over again

I thought I'd update for all of you kind enough to offer suggestions. I think the idea of a specialist referral is a good one, I shall ring Liphook on Monday and discuss with them, ask what questions I need to be asking and what further investigation would be useful, as I now have to count the pennies.
The osteopath is a registered vet too, so I have ended up with one saying it's his foot and refusing to consider alternatives, the other it's his back and def not his foot. I would prefer a different vet because although I've used the practice for several years, I have not met him before, I don't think we have a constructive relationship and I'm not the only female owner who finds him rather difficult.
