I have quite had enough of blooming timewasters, rude people and cancelling people.

I am near tired of explaining about him now and making the effort to not have any call backs, have the phone put down on me, not have emails returned despite being REALLY interested or to make plans and have them cancelled.

Surely a buyer is out there!!

if i have one more person phone me then tell me they will phone back to book a viewing only to not bother. Gets my hopes up only to have them dashed. It's driving me mad!

I know - and yet on here lots of people want horses lol (not at all saying that peole on here are timewasters).

The worst i have is the people who arrange a time and just fail to show up, or my favourite, those that come and claim that my horse is fizzy, strong, or not schooled correctly because these people are inexperienced and shouldn't be sat on a young eventer, despite having told me they've ridden all their lives, competed to a decent standard and all the rest of it!

Unfortunately because my mare is on the smaller side i have loads of calls from mothers who have kids at riding school or in pony club that cant ride for toffee and want their first horse after ponies. Every single one of these kids thats been has been unable to ride properly and pull and kick and upset my little mare, and when the mother turns to me to ask why my mare is "misbehaving", they dont want to hear that their child is not the little superstar she had been led to believe.

Drives me mad!! Sometimes after these people leave i could cry!

I am sure the right person will come along. I agree though it is very hard to vet calls to ensure the enquirer can ride at the right level.

I've had my broodmare advertised since the end of November and have only encountered timewasters and 'no i'm not a dealer' dealers!!

I posted some of the stupid questions that I have been asked by people on here the other day....... Dont know if i'm being too fussy about who has her, but the 'no i'm not a dealer' dealer got an earfull when he rang me the other night at 1120pm!!!!

Do you have a resume of your horse's talents and otherwise with some pics and then email to prospective buyer after a quick chat and suggest they ring back if they are interested!!!

That is a way to get them off the phone really quickly .... but hopefully give them the information they need to decide if horse is a possible for them!

If you have a few short video clips you can email - or upload onto youtube - that would also help. If someone is generally serious (and likely to be a sensible owner!) they will invest the time to look at them - and if not, well your time isn't wasted?
