Went to a show yesterday and a really tatty looking ex racer (I assume it was an ex racer) cleaned up on the SJ'ing!

Just made me think that we sometimes look at a horse and think it's probably not good for anything and then they pull something like that out of the hat.

It's jump off time in the 3'3" was amazing!

Thought it was interesting to watch.

Just goes to show how talented ex racers can be *cough*

It's the same when you go to a Point to Point. Never bet on the best turned out - always the one that looks terrible. They win every bloomin time!!!!!

Yeah my friend used to show jump an ex point to pointer and took pride on being the scabbiest turned out and cleaning up!!!

true true.....I do like my boy to look a bit presentable though...comes from having to many my little ponies as a child lol
