dont judge someone for asking advice RANT!

I think a lot of the problem arises from people typing what they think, rather than typing what they would have said or how they'd say it face to face. It is not always possible to demonstrate tone of voice using the written word; people are too quick to type and don't spend long enough proof reading to make sure what they have typed a) is grammatically correct or b) sounds fair or reasonable.

Just recently I received a reply to a thread I had started regarding my poor mare who'd lost her rug in the field. I got some really helpful replies from most people but one person basically told me I shouldn't have been so stupid has to have given her a fulll clip in the first place. Thanks for that! Very constructive! What was I to do...ask "please, dear horse, grow your coat back in the next 10 minutes so you warm up, would you?"!! I'm sure the person meant well, but the tone it came across with was, to say the least, disparaging. I stewed on it for days!

My small request? Think before you type or click submit!

Thanks all.
