I bought my first horse just over two years ago, bad move really he failed the vet (has low grade arthritus in rt hock) but fell in love with him on sight. He has a fab temprement on the ground, a donkey in Summer but Winter he is very spooky and naughty - hacking is like taking your life into your hands, he double barrelled a double decker once and has decked me on many many occassions.
I am trying to get my stage exams and never jumped before til last year - so (foolishly) bought another horse to teach me (the first one was too naughty/not really jumped before) and I am doing well on him.
I have loaned first horse out but feel that she is not 100% with him, have heard about her getting off on hacks and dragging him around by his bit.
It would break my heart to sell him (he got me through a bad illness) but dn want to loan due to recent experiences, what does everyone think I should do? I am full time at Uni til June, this is why have loaned (lack of time) Feel really down as foolishly I am too close to both my neddies.
