But have you ever watched anyone else ride your horse and thought 'bloody hell my horse is gorgeous?' lol

My sharer was riding Ty on Saturday and I don't usually get to see her ride - new man took a few photos and lookiing back on them and seeing him the school he looked amazing - he's got great carriage now and he looks like he works in an outline all the time (although we know he's not yet!

) but just looks very arrogant and gorge.

will post pics soon - such a change from the manky irish TB I brought a year ago.

Yes i often think that, i get OH to film us when we compete, and then watch the footage over and over again, thinking how fab does my horse look. LOL,

thought it was just me being a loon! new school at the new yard is amazing - rode him in the pouring rain and he went so well - he seems to really take pride in himself now..... xx

No not yet - a girl I know rides him on Saturdays when I rehearse. Quite handy cause I can then hack him out after she schools so he gets double worked!

Not sure if I need a sharer now - decided to hold fire on buying anyway - market could change alot in a year and I'll have more money.

Plus, I really want to bring him on now I know him and have that 'I did this' feeling about it!

Yep, best ever was when Clive Halsall rode my mums old mare at a dressage clinic, it was astounding! Have also seen the flip side, when at Royal Lancs in the Pony Club Equitation the judge made us swap and Jeanette Brakewell got to ride my old Jumping pony, I now feel quite smug that she looked as awkard as I felt in the equitation. Ps was only doing the eq cos the pony club rules said that you had to to enter the jumping classes.

I think they sometimes go better than you think when you're on them! I can certainly feel the difference with Ty now that I've relaxed and am working him harder.....they just carry different.....if you know what I mean? Obviously don't get to see him whenI'm on top...!

The only time I have ever seen someone else ride Axey is at a show last year. The Riding Horse judge rode him, and he gave him a lovely ride and it was a pleasure to watch. I was a very proud mummy

Especially as he was only the 2nd other person ever to sit on him other than me!

I love to see my instructor ride Oliver. She has been injured for the last few months but he looked great the last time she rode him and was almost cantering on the spot for her. I can get some collection but nowhere near that much!

Yes I agree. It is always a real treat to see one of my horses being ridden by a decent rider. I love to see how they move.

Hate to admit it but I'm exactly the same

I love to occasionally watch someone riding Louis as it makes me appreciate how well he's going and I always secretly think how gorgeous he is...but then I'm bias

I went to a Showing Clinic on Sunday and the Judge got on Pasha - he did poke his nose out a bit and look a bit puzzled (think he was thinking 'who the hell are you?'), but she was a lovely rider and I stood there welling up with pride - I really do think now he is the most gorgeous horse on the planet!

Yes we done a dressage clinic last week and the lady was on my boy and i thought "god you're a handsome bu**er".But i also felt very proud and lucky to own such a lovely horse.
