But I've just seen small pony partially chew a slug. 🤢🤢🤢 One of the bicoloured ones that are grey on top with a dayglow orange belly- she picked it up while grazing, chewed it once or twice, then left it hanging out of the corner of her mouth gently oozing and squirming in its death throes.
I confess to chickening out of the slug removal and getting mum to wipe it away with a leaf!

My pony once chomped on one. He loved to take mouthfuls of the brewer's yeast given a chance and one day I found a suicidal slug in there. I picked it out and threw it behind me. I then turned round to see all sorts of unhappy faces on my Exmoor, before the soggy slug was spat out. Still makes me laugh about 6 years on. 😆
