...the wire starts coming out of your bra and sticking into you! Especially when it's one of your favourite bras *sigh* Sat at work and being stabbed each time I move my arm.

Guess I'll have to go bra shopping again, and I actually hate that type of shopping, they never fit the way I want or do what I want them to, annoying!! LOL

i know the feeling had many of those .
it does annoy me to have to go shopping for bra specialy when you got a FF cup size( own not silcone) and nothing seems to fit propley .

Yep totally agree with you on that one but what I also hate is when I decide to trim my horses face and get all her hairs down my bra and then get caught in the act of trying to fish them out with my hand!

Have you ever been for a proper bra fitting. Amazing what results you can get with a bit of advice.

(The only downside being you have to be manhandled by a brisk middle aged woman!)

Ah yes, hairs, hay, shavings... We look so classy trying to get it out :D

I must admit, no, I haven't been for a proper bra fitting and I know I should, but I just always chicken out... I want to get a really nice ooomph bra but I have such a broad back, I can never find anything that gives the effect I want.

And now it looks like I need to shop for some nice casual ones, oh the joy...

lol totally and utterly know what you mean. :D

Doesn't really stab me though but I do think god if I came off the horse and fell awkwardly it could do me some serious damage

dangerous really, I need to bin them.

if you ever find a bra that gives the ooomph ,please let me know or even one that correctly gives proper support , its not a nice site when you try to do sitting trot ,and you havnt got much support in the boob department ha ha

I always wear sports bras now if I can - but this one doesn't live up to it's name- as i discovered when I trotted Shy up to check he was sound on his maggoty foot this morning  Come back shock absorber - all is forgiven (well maybe not the price) sm x

If you want a sports bra I can thoroughly recommend Pure Lime, best sports bra I've ever had by a mile. Got it from Less Bounce.com

If you do decide to go for a fitting you can do a lot worse than M&S. Yes its a bit embarrasing but they must do loads every single day, they won't have anything you haven't seen before. If you're a bit bigger and live near one of their branches thebest fitting I've had was at a Bravissimo. Excellent service.

would love to find that out but alas flat chested, no bounce!!:D:D
looking for a t shirt that says front and back :D
Good side bras are 99p from asda lol

why is it that in the sale they are all TINY sizes ?

because not many women these days have tiny boobs

or because those with little boobs have decided to go with out to beet the reccession

or because someone mistook them for egg cup warmers when they brought them on a no sale no return basis

... I went into a rather important meeting once and was stared at... "What is that thing on your jumper?" I was asked. Only to discover when I pulled at it it was my underwire! Also did a x country course with some sticking into my armpit once was so so sore when I got back and really didn't want to put my arm down at all!

Necessary evil or just another invention by a man me wanders... Mind you at least it saves the elastic in your socks from being stretched!

Pull the wire out. That's easily done in the loo. You then just look like you've got one boob at the ready and the other on the all clear but who cares, at least it stops poking you in the side.

Men with boobs on horses. Now there's a thread.

what a funny coinsidence, put my only strapless bra on this morning as just about to go out to pick a wedding dress, and felt a stabbing pain in my armpit and realised the wire had given up under the strain :) something else I am going to have to go and buy :(

On an important note - I have always been careful to buy wireless sports bras for riding, especially for XC and jumping, as I have heard of nasty injuries involving underwires and puncturing injuries. That's wireless in the underwire sense, not the remote electrical equipment sense :)

The only time i'm thankful i have no bounce to my boobs is when i'm riding :D

BUT does anyone get that horrid squeeeeek?! It makes me cringe!!! I have goosebumps just thinking about it >.<

I was talking to some relatives of a patient of mine who was dying, trying to reassure them she was not in any pain and soothing them through the process of death.

As I was talking, I turned my head and felt a stabbing to my lower neck.

A wire was poking all the way up and out of the top of my uniform.......

Yeeeep! A friend couldn't understand why I had a look of pain on my face being carted round a course jumping the other week...bloody thing cut in and was nicely prodding in me every stride.

Haaaate it! Made me sit up though!!!

Forgot a funny story regarding a bra under wire....

Had a night out in town when I went back home for a weekend, got v.v.drunk as predicted.:s Anywho.

Looking back through the photos after, there was a photo of a random flower vase in the toilets of some club. Wondered why we'd taken a random photo of it....then about 2 weeks later, realised my underwire was modelled in it sticking out! I think it had broke or something and decided the best place for it was there....LOL. Random stuff.
