Don't You Just Hate It When You Embarass Yourself In Public!!

Well, I've been at my new yard about 6 weeks now and apparently word has gone around that I'm a nice quiet rider with an obedient horse

Cue every other livery (and I mean everyone) watching me jump the ginger beast today. We flew a couple of fairly big fences (3' high, 3' wide - ish) and were going really well albeit a wee bit excitable.

Decided to pop over the spooky tyre jump to finish, its only about 18" or less but we hadn't tried it before. Horse ducked to the left, then the right, then stopped, then decided to jump anyway, which resulted in me landing on her head, bum stuck up in the air right as my friend took a picture

ever helpful horsey threw her head back and flipped me back into the saddle but I have a feeling that pic's gonna turn up on the tackroom wall fairly soon

it was a disposable camera though so i might be able to steal it and bin it!!

Poor you, doesn't it always happen, mine was face down in the dirt after being bucked off at a local show - shame quite a few people had come to watch me!!
