Both of ours (one who is 37yrs and really should know better :)) were a right handful turning out this morning, prob the 37yr old was more naughty than mr b. Hate wind....... Xx

Ha, me too! Lils span me round trying to get away from the gust of wind that had just gone up her arse, promptly tripping me over a branch that had fallen onto the track - happy days...
She's even worse when I have to bring her in when it's dark AND windy!!!

Mine are laid back as anything - they are inside today. If I turned them out they would be wild.

Much happier ponies tucking into their hay.

Oh its a joy isnt it?!

Fireworks night was the most fun Ive had in years, trying to hold on to 2 BIG Shire crosses, in the pitch black, with fire works going off and trying to fix the jammed shut gate soo I could get the crazies out and into the stable yard all at the same time.

Dont you just loooove gail force winds and driving rain?! :S

I have to say, my little porkpie was brilliant this morning. Had to go traipsing through her field to retrieve a giant white plastic hay bale cover type bag (was about twice the length of me, and I'm 5'8") and dragged it out about 3 feet from her. She moved her bum around to see what the heck I was pulling but just stood there munching her breakfast. :D

HONESTLY.... my horse (usual nutcase) = fine... 2 Full Liveries (usually more sane) = Cue skiing up the track and out to the field! Jeepers what a blustery day!
