Plus safe, steady plod horses for beginners are quite sought after - and so are quite pricey.

Have you looked in your local adtrader? Asked local riding schools - ours has just sold a horse.

You think? We often make the Manchester (greater) - Durham journey, or Macclesfield - Durham for weekend gigs/to visit friends and family, and providing you get a clear run, you can do it in 2 1/2 hours.

For a good horse, I think a 2 hour journey is worth it. But if you can get one closer, then that's much better, obviously

Have you looked at the Stubley Hollow Farm Website? Patsy is great at finding steady neddies (as well as others) and I know she has a couple at the moment that are seriously chilled! If she hasn't got what you want on the website she has plenty others that are waiting to be advertised!
