Henry really is a dope

Was walking him across one of the winter paddocks just now, they use it for the skinnies so the grass is quite long. He was about 10 metres ahead, sniffing and furtling about, and I was wandering along behind.

Suddenly a rabbit leapt up and ran for it as I walked past - Henry must have pootled right past it

It shot down the field, then curved round right in front of Henry heading for the warren just outside the paddock.

Did Henry chase it? No - he didn't even notice

Then a couple of moments later he crossed its trail and got really really excited, following it all the way along - of course the bunny was long gone

Absolutely hopeless!

He prob was not that arsed, still full from his 9 course meal at the office desk

You jest, we have a birthday in the office, so I have been warding him off cake all day (don't think he's managed to reach any yet...)

We've got a rabbit problem at the yard so I take Yellow Dog there. He'll just sit and watch them, then when we go for a walk he goes nuts for the bunnies but once back at the yard he'll just sit there and watch them.... No one could ever call him normal, thats for sure

If its any help I have 2 that are even more stoooopid!!

St Sweep never really chases anything - needs counselling afterwards the big softy!!

- and Mad Max gets so over excited at being so close to a bunny/hare that by the time the message gets to his paws to chase them they are in the next county..........
