Just wondering what everyone else uses? Both sets plain? One plain, one plaited? One plain, one one sided rubber? Rubber and plain?
Gonna do a bit of showing to keep her going over winter and last time i had her in a double bridle i cant remember what i opted for.
I showed my other mare in plain and one sided rubber years ago but she had a very sensitive mouth so i didnt need really grippy reins.
I like plaited/laced reins and the curb rein plain. That'll do wont it

It's really down to preference, I have teeny hands so have to use 2 sets of the thinnest plain reins I can find - my instructor hates riding him in his double because of this though
