Ok so is there a REALLY superb double dilute (WB) stallion out there?? With excellent conformation, excellent breeding and competition records to boot? Oh and graded

(If you haven't gathered I am in a rather nosey mood today and I haven't really paid any attention to double dilute stallions in the past

McJonnas? He is a cremello- is that a double dilute? I think he is stunning and am trying to pursuade my OH to let Amber have his baby (McJonnas that is, not my OH's). I believe Opie on here owns him.

CM - I agree he is beautiful!!!

Binky - I had forgotten about Opie's McJonnas (she's going to smack my bum when she comes on for forgetting )

Clodagh - Milkyway has the same sire as the Multicolors

Ciss - they are good scores for a grading, i'm off to see if I can find a piccy

Nothing against the stallion at all BUT what naming genius came up with the incredibly innovative name of Perlino Kinsky for a Perlino coloured Kinsky horse???? Just genius....

There is another topic, 'Cremello stallions', with more or less the same request.

There are a number of cremello stallions available.
What bloodlines are you looking for?
Are you looking only to UK standing stallions or also considering European or American standing stallions?
Are you considering only those stallions approved with:
- Colour Registers?
- Sport Registers?
- European recognized WB Registers?
- Only UK recognized Registers?
What are you prepared to pay?
Do you want fresh, frozen or natural covering?
WHAT COLOUR IS YOUR MARE? ... as many cremello stallions will not cover dilute mares

I have a list of 56 ! cremello stallions world-wide in sizes from pony (143cm) to horse (172 cm), in warmblood-type breeds, approved and not approved.

Need some more information to thin the list out to meet your requirements.

When I first came across it when doing the catalogue for the PSHP Stallion Parade at Moreton Morell last year I said 'But that's not a name its a colour and a breed description' but apparently all registered horses of the Kinsky breed have Kinsky as the second part of their name (!) and presumably his German (?) breeder was a bit lacking in imagination on the day he/she came to formally register him. Not very bright though I do agree and pretty confusing for a UK audience <sigh>
