I know there are several ways to hold double reins, the classic and most commonly used being snaffle between pinky and ring and curb either European under the pinky or above the snaffle in between ring and middle finger (crossed).
I personally find it most comfortable uncrossed with curb between ring and pinky and snaffle above in-between ring and middle.
No one has ever commented on this style and have ridden numerous showing classes not to mention riding my one horse at home permanently like this this the last 14 years.
Would you notice / criticize this method which I know "is" used by some albeit a few???
