doubling cost (no notice!) and moving yards

HELP PLEASE!
I moved to this yard as the YMs very first livery and thus they honored the price I was paying at the other yard. I had use of a stable. Fast forward and I have lost my stable and the bedding I had paid for in it and I just found out livery has almost doubled (backdated to 01/06) There is no written contract in place!
I've seen a new yard which is slightly cheaper and I have a reserved stable... what should I do?
Feel like I have been getting muscled out since the arrival of new liveries over a period of time and it's not pleasant! I also have a horse there which is out on loan, do I move it with me or give the girl an opportunity to keep there? (Would cost me more to move both, but still cheaper than current place, but more ££ if loan doesn';t continue....)
 
Some YOs can be strange & if you moved yet left your loan horse they may make your other horse or loaner very uncomfortable. Some can be vindictive. If you have the opportunity then I would move both. If it's not too far away from where you are now then I would imagine your loaner would move with you but that's a matter between you & her.
 
If you pay for the livery then I'd move the horse if the loaner pays then I would let her decide as it doesn't sound like anything dangerous is happening there (although I'd ask her to obtain a contract to cover responsibility for injury/negligence if she like you has no contract)

Whatever way you need to speak with the loaner sooner rather than later
 
Id move both and i wouldnt pay the inflated new price,id pay the amount you always paid, they could whistle for any back dated payment cheeky gits, if they wanted to increase theyre entitled to inform you it being increased imo,not to decide thats what it is and backdate it, thats bang out of order
