Downgrading a VW LT50..

Hiya,

Has any one ever downgraded a VW LT50 which i believe is a 5.5t?! Down to a 3.5t?...

Im just wondering what kind of payload i would be left with, if any..

It has a full fibre glass body, and very basic living.

you will need to take it to a public weighbridge to find out its unladen weight then work out how much payload if any your left with !!! FYI I think they will only let you down plate if its got a certain amount in hand so if it weighs about 2.5 ton you should be ok ....hope that helps....
