In limbo...

Today Otto decided that his ducks legs were severely infected and therefore mut be removed immediately, lest the infection spread and kill said duck...

Well the operation was a success, and duck is recovering well under close observation from Dr Otto, although he is slightly concerned that he didn't catch it quick enough and now the wings may need removing...

Life as a successful limb surgeon, isn't all it's cracked up to be, it's knackering!

He is just too cute for words! Beastie wants to know if he'd like a girlfriend

He feels that he is possibly too young to settled down, especially on such a long distance relationship, but is well up for a casual thing

Especially with such a hot piece of doggy ass

PS is that a Baldric quote?

It is indeed! Blackadder goes forth, from the episode where Hugh Laurie dresses up as a women, and Stephen Fry falls in love with him/her! Not that I'm a fan

Would dr Otto like a nurse. My springer spaniel(now just a year old) did the exact same thing. She also has a toy pheasant and decided that needed a wing amputation. Maybe they can set up a practice together!!

He's absolutely gorgeous, and looks just about as daft as mine.

Does Otto only operate on ducks or would any animal be considered?

My dogs eviscerated a pink fluffy sheep which needs a skilled animal surgeon to save it

My two have maimed and killed an entire zoo's worth of assorted animals

Luckily their grandma is a skilled surgeon and takes them back to her 'hospital' for surgery and recuperation (good job as their Mum can't sew for toffee

). Then they are returned home where they are lucky to remain intact for any length of time before losing another limb and being returned to hospital

We have a monkey who has more stitches than Frankenstein's monkey

and a whole freak show of beakless ducks, footless pheasants and armless teddies, but they have so much fun I don't begrudge replacing them (although I have started buying them from charity shops now as we get through so many with the pup).

He has now decided that his collection of animals are perfectly healthy, and no more amputation will be neccessary (for now!)

He has dicovered edible chews are much more fun, he gets through a huge knotted bone in a couple of hours!
