my project horse i have recently bought has problems in his back.
his muscles are very tight and he swishes tail when you touch his back. he also has a lump on his withers which he has had antiobiotics for which have taken the swelling down on one side but it is still puffy on one side (the side where the ligament runs). this is all to do with his previous very novice owner riding him in a saddle that was terribly fitted
I have previously used Ray, there has sometimes been results but not always. He has not always been referred to as Dr, I have been told he is not actually a Dr. Roy Midwood is exceedingly good, my horse had been lame for 3 years, Ray Smith had been to her 3 times, after scans and xrays which were inconclusive. Roy Midwood treated her and a few weeks after that she went to her 1st competition since 4 yr old and won 3 classes, qualifying for the Royal London Show. Cost wise he is 3 times more expensive than Ray Smith, but he gets results with 1 treatment session, he would always be my choice now.
