Drag Hunting in Scotland?

I'd planned to take C drag hunting with Kingdom Draghounds last year but he took colic and lost his fitness so I have to wait to this winter.

Unfortunatlely I've been informed that Kingdom Draghounds have "temporarily halted" their drag hunting with no indication of when it will resume.

Does anyone know of anywhere else around Central scotland I could go?

Only other one I could find was in the Highland which is too far.

As neither of us have hunted before I need something thats not too fast and furious!

Any ideas?

i dont believe there are any in Scotland- all i can suggest is that you get in touch with the MFHA. sorry i cant be of more help-

I want to know the same thing too! It seems that any hunts are either 3hours north or 3hours south of me Long way to go, and not cheap on petrol Surely there must be something in central scotland?

If you want some practise try some of the more sedate common rides - some are mental but there's quite a few I've had toby on and they're brilliant. There's one in Annan next weekend and it'd be pretty much straight down the motorway for you. Get to gallop on the beach!

there are roughly 11 hunts in Scotland but couldn't find any drags.

There is Highland Drag Hunt, but it's probably a bit far for you.
