Drag hunting

want to try drag hunting with my horse, my horse has done it before with his previous owner but would be my first time but i think i will be ok! Have other people done it and enjoyed it?

have never done but know it is a very fast pace and horse and you need to be fit fit !!!

Highly recommend, on the right horse! Should be fine if done before but I would check what tack he went in as you may need a stronger bit/noseband.

My daughter went drag hunting a couple of years ago with the Cambridge University Drag (they meet locally once a year - they were around today in fact, but we totally forgot about the meet until it was too late!!). Daughter was then riding her now outgrown 14.1hh Section D and she had the most fantastic time! Jumped everything (including things she wouldn't have jumped on her 17hh horse purely because some of the jumps were so close together that you needed something small-ish and clever to clear them). My horse went with the same pack about six years ago; he's a real pain to hunt but was far better drag hunting because there was no hanging about (that's the bit he can't cope with!).
