I would invent a "Veet" hair removable cream, as my one hairy beastie hates the clippers. Just apply, wait 10 mins and hose off. Job done!

Well I have actually invented a horsey gadget........ and my friend who cleans the offices where I work has just arrived and now wants to buy even more for ‘all’ her horse’s rugs. I had one customer who brought 10 for all her rugs and that was just for one horse!

My product made it into the YOUR HORSE magazine a few years back and from that I received lots of orders, but I no longer have a website at the moment to market/advertise. Was thinking of selling them on e-bay.

Clippers that somehow catch the hair before it gets all over your face, body, clothes etc

sensors on car windscreen wipers to stop them moving when you ride past them

A head to hoof cover with protective legs and mud repellant outer to prevent the mud dreadlocks and annoying cuts you always seem to get just when you want to take the horse out somewhere

Someone has got to invent an alternative to studs soon

I would love a gizmo to deliver hay to my Mare at intervals in the night (Instead of her finishing it all in an hour and then standing about till morning!)

A robot to lead them out in the morning and in - just for winter when it gets dark and she gets scared (I suppose livery favours will do till I invent it!)

Have you seen those gimicky umbrellas which attach to a band around your head? Well how about an extra-extra large one which fits around your riding hat and extends right over the horse down to the ground, then you could ride in the rain and neither you nor the horse would get wet!
Leading on from that there's a trend for cross-over sports at the moment such as polo-cross etc, this giant umbrella would allow a new cross-over sport.... when the wind gets up, and catches the bottom of the umbrella and makes you take off flying into the air, it could be called para-riding! What fun would that be!!! Ha-ha!!!

Other than that I love the idea of a machine to distribute hay into your stable hourly, and the de-robing rug machine for winter, I'm so fed up of getting wet and dirty taking muddy rugs off, but it would have to be attached to an automatic overnight rug-dryer.

I'd invent recycled plastic fence posts for the field that taste bad so the horses don't chew on them. I'd also make stable door with the same material.

A few years ago, a man was actually on Dragons Den with a Riding Crop with a mirror on the top, and he said that it would be used by riders on the road, to look behind them without having to turn round.
