Dramatic Rescue by fire brigade this morning.

One of the foals fell into the river this morning at my yard and had to be rescued by the fire brigade.

She's fine, luckily the water was only up to her knees but the river banks were too steep to get her out without slings and winching her up.
Very lucky she was checked at 7am this morning. No sign of how she fell in, as the river is fenced of with electric fencing and really overgrown beyond.
Poor little thing was very wet and cold, but is now back with her mummy safe and sound.

Thank goodness she was rescued safe and sound. How terrifying to think she might not be here now but for the fire brigade.

A huge WELL DONE to them for getting her out safely.

LOL I didn't even think to look at the yummy fireman, I was too worried about the foaly. I think there were 1 or 2 quite hot one's tho

Horrible thing is YO was going to go off competeing this morning but didn't go, so went and checked foalies early (luckily) as probably nobody would have noticed her for a good few hours
