As for the Draw Reain question - there is a thread on here where everyone is arguing for and against them. I'll go look for it. It's recent.

If you know how to use them they are fine. But not all the time. As an occasional aid or reminder they are fine..
I don't like the use of them out hacking unless your horse rears or naps..
Tweed like this is always smart, or a bit darker. Ignore the procetag :eek!: The image is just for demonstration

Lethal in the wrong hands

Draw reins are are ordinary piece of equipment that if used in the wrong hands can be terrible.
The same can be said for almost anything horsey including simple snaffles.

Horses are so accessible nowadays that people go head first into horse riding/ownership without an idea on how to do things properly.
