When you pre enter a show jumping class when should the drawn order be accessible to you so you can make arrangements when to get to the show? Our show day is tomorrow & no list has been posted yet.
That's what I thought but I'm wondering because the show is all drawn order, there are 5 classes today but they've only posted 3 drawn order lists!. There are two classes with ? number of entries who have no idea what time to get to the show & no idea where in the class they will be jumping. If they can't get the days classes posted then what chance for tomorrows. The show isn't a championship, it's just a pre entry show. They've been contacted & say they are waiting to see how many people pull out so they can post an accurate list? They don't seem to realise that their reluctance to post a list is why people are pulling out as they have no idea what's happening.
Now 9.30pm & they have only posted some of the drawn order, there are still 2 classes they haven't mentioned. It was 40 minutes ago when they last posted. I think they want us to guess when to come to the show & what position we'll be jumping! There are 222 entries in the first 5 classes & it starts at 7.30am. Assuming 2.5 minutes per entry it will take 9.25 hours to get to the end of 5th class. Allow 15 minutes for course building & walking for the 5 classes that's an extra 1.25 hours so 10.5 hours taken up with 2 more classes to jump? We'd better take a helmet light because it'll be dark before the end of the show.
