Dreaded towing question

The 4x4 i am looking at has a towing capacity of 2000kg. I have access to either an Ifor Williams 505 or a 510 (the newer models appear to weigh up to 1000kg unladen as a guide) and only want to tow one horse (weighs approximately 600kg. Would i be ok?

Cant afford car and a trailer of my own but can hire one of the two owned by our yard hence the older models.
 
Thanks, yes Licence not a problem just need vehicle that is capable of towing but trying to keep MPG as high as possible for non towing driving.
