Bloody dog. Was having Hatdog spaid this year as I didn't want any pups from her and she is getting to that age where it is one or the other. I've moved and was looking at getting something bigger to train to gun, possibly a spaniel or a german pointer.
But the Hatdog is in pup, completely by accident my mum says, to a westie.
So, anyone me a Jestie pup? What the hell are they going to look like? I reckon if they look like mini westies I could be tempted to keep one, but at the moment I am hanging on to my original working dog thoughts.
For those of you who don't know, Hatdog is a JRT and looks like this:

Is it too late to have the litter terminated?
(Puts on flame-proof suit)
Otherwise I am sure Hattie's reputation precedes her and you might find good homes locally?
I would charge a nominal fee personally.
No idea what they would look like, x-breeds are a bit of a crapshoot looks wise.

Just watch for things like skin sensitivity/licking (from the Westie side) and luxating patellas (which both Westies and Jacks are prone to and can be hereditary).

Nope too far gone, I'm gutted because it will be silage time when she has them, she loves to be in the tractors and hearing them bumbling past all day will drive her mad.
I think if they come out all white they will be cute, but Hattie is a throw back so they are likely to be coloured.
Looked online earlier- £150?! Madness, what people will pay for odd crossbreeds.
I'm angry because I really don't like crossbreeds, poor Hatdog :(
The FF if we get a darkish one I will PM you, bitch or dog?

Not too overly fussed, but pref bitch if poss.

Last one of mine was a Manchester x Patterdale (pedigree on both sides :D ) so am used to 'oddities' :D was most fantastic ratter & chief molecatcher extraordinaire, also rode pillion with me on odd occasions or when he was tired  - he had a unique way of jumping up to my boot, so he could be dragged on board without me getting off. Made car drivers goggle to see a self important horror grinning at them from horseback :D (the dog, not me that is! :p )

Will await PM

I know of two litters of Jesties, only the other way round, mother a Westie and Dad a JR (maybe even a bit of incest, never decided).

Lovely, lovely little dogs, but the mother was a sweetheart, a really happy nice dog.

I've got 2 English pointer x Japanese Chin (they were an accident)
Mother was the pointer, father was the Chin.
The boy looks like a mini pointer, she looks gets mistaken for a spaniel, think because she is fluffy.
What name can we come up with for this cross breed (think both should have been called LEAVE as that's what is constantly being said to them!!)

We had 2 Yorkie X Westies (Yesties? Workies?) from the same litter when I was a kid - one looked like a small gray westie, the other looked like a big(er) black yorkie. The other two in the litter looked like golden coloured cairns if you didn't know the cross!
