Dreading tomorrow! (horse hunting)

The last horse I tried was back in February (bucked like it was in a rodeo

). After that I decided to couldn't face trying any more and would just gently potter on with my old mare. Until she got ringbone back in June. Since then I haven't ridden at all (probably the longest time I haven't ridden in ahem quite a lot of years)

Anyhow against all logic I am going to see a horse a zillion miles away tomorrow.

Its not the zillion miles I mind so much, its riding the darn horse! I have always hated riding in front of the owner in these situations (am verging on being phobic about it

just always feel like I am being judged and found wanting if you see what I mean! Think the owner is thinking What is this total numpty doing on my horse?

Must be mad! But the compulsion to ride has been building over the last few months and I NEED a horse!

Oh dear I am getting myself in a right old state about it

its like that every time i ride someone elses horse... just think about the horse whether you like it or not..after all you could be a possible buyer

I am the same i usually feel sick the whole journey the last one i went to see bolted around the arena with me should have known when the owner didn't get on and the horse trainer did lol we were ok until it got into canter
Just remember you are the one with the money and they are the ones wanting to sell the horse good luck what is it you are going to see

Welshmonsters that does make me feel a bit better that I am not the only one. I was thinking whether I could get out of riding her which is, of course, rediculous!

She is a 7 year old bay mare, mostly TB with a smidgen of arab I think. Looks very pretty, I'm hoping she might be a future Show Hack.

Think of me tomorrow piling up the M1 feeling sick and wishing it was over!
