Happy Wednesday darlings!

Hope you’re all well.

Just wanted to show you this pic from the wknd - I finally got to fulfill my dream and ride in the forest with Prince (we are on the far right in the forest pic) - he was so so good. As soon as we entered the enclosure two deer ran out straight across the path but he didn’t bat an eyelid! It was the most wonderful experience. We then rode home past a Christmas tree market where people weren’t allowed to leave their cars - so we had to traverse lots of angry motorists and scarey moving trees!

Again, he just strode on by without hesitation! I couldn’t believe it! How this horse ended up at a bargain price from a dealer I know not - he is worth his colossal weight in gold!!!!!!!!!!

Lucky old me!

Ahh thank you guys - so kind of you.

In terms of what I think his main problem was .... it’s difficult to say. He turned out to have ulcers which we treated with gastro guard and that made a reasonable difference. We then got the sheath cleaning lady out who extracted a MAMMOTH bean! He was happier still after that!!

But also, Ive worked out that he’s much happier for me to mount him after he has been warmed up a little with some walking and that seems to make a big difference!

Or maybe it’s the fact that I’m a little more confident now and don’t get scared when he tries it on.

Who knows! But one thing I know - he is just an incredible horse - the horse of my dreams!!!! I’m so lucky ?

What a boy for handling deer scampering by!

mine just have to see deer in the next field and ive got giraffe-necked crazies staring and circling around saying “they’re eating our grass momma!”

Recently ive seen deer poop in their dry paddock area...cant believe the deer are so bold!

I hope you continue to have a brilliant winter season with Prince...you make a lovely pair ?
